BrilliSkin offers a secure, HIPAA-compliant digital platform designed to facilitate the efficient delivery of dermatologic services by independent medical professionals. BrilliSkin LLC is not a professional medical entity and does not engage in the practice of medicine or the provision of healthcare services.

All clinical services accessed through the BrilliSkin platform are rendered solely by one or more separate professional entities, which are owned and operated by licensed physicians. These professional entities and physicians are entirely responsible for all patient care, including diagnosis, treatment, medical decision-making, and compliance with applicable medical standards and regulations.

BrilliSkin provides non-clinical support services to these affiliated practices. These services may include appointment scheduling, secure platform hosting, customer service, billing facilitation, marketing, and technology infrastructure. BrilliSkin does not control or interfere with the medical judgment of any licensed provider affiliated with the platform and is not responsible for the medical services provided.

No patient-physician relationship is established with BrilliSkin LLC. Any such relationship is formed exclusively with the licensed provider or professional entity that delivers care via the platform. All questions or concerns regarding diagnosis, treatment, or clinical care should be directed to the respective medical provider or practice entity managing your case.

By using the BrilliSkin platform, you acknowledge and agree that BrilliSkin LLC is not a healthcare provider, that BrilliSkin is not providing any medical or other healthcare services, and that all medical services are provided exclusively by independent healthcare practitioners.

BrilliSkin LLC is a management services and technology platform that facilitates access to dermatologic care by connecting users with independently owned and operated medical practices. BrilliSkin LLC does not practice medicine or provide medical or other healthcare services. All medical services accessible through the BrilliSkin platform are provided exclusively by independent licensed professional entities and healthcare professionals.

By using the BrilliSkin platform, you understand and agree that:

• BrilliSkin LLC is not a medical provider and does not provide clinical care or medical advice, or any other professional healthcare services.
• All healthcare services are delivered solely by physicians, other healthcare providers or professional entities, operating independently of BrilliSkin LLC.
• Your clinical relationship is with the physician, healthcare provider and/or professional entity that accepts and reviews your case—not with BrilliSkin LLC.

Use of the platform does not create a provider-patient relationship with BrilliSkin LLC. For all clinical matters, medical advice and healthcare services, users must consult directly with the physician or other healthcare professional providing care.

 

Privacy Policy – Role of BrilliSkin LLC

Role in Healthcare Delivery

BrilliSkin LLC provides a technology platform that enables users to submit dermatologic information and allows physicians and other healthcare providers to evaluate and respond to those submissions. BrilliSkin LLC is not a healthcare provider, however, BrilliSkin LLC may access, use or disclose personal health information (PHI) as necessary to provide technical and administrative support services to affiliated physicians, healthcare providers and professional entities under HIPAA-compliant arrangements and for the operational needs of its business.

Any diagnosis, treatment, or medical recommendation you receive through the platform is provided by an independent healthcare professional who is solely responsible for your care. BrilliSkin LLC does not engage in the practice of medicine or provide any healthcare services, and BrilliSkin is not responsible for any clinical decisions or medical outcomes.

All PHI submitted through the platform is securely processed and stored in accordance with applicable laws.  In the event that you choose to contact your provider by any method outside of the BrilliSkin website or app, you acknowledge that your communications, including the response to your communications, may not be secure and will not be subject to BrilliSkin’s HIPAA-compliant safeguards.

To request a copy of the privacy policy of your individual healthcare provider, you may contact us, or you may contact your healthcare provider directly.

BrilliSkin LLC is a technology company that provides administrative services and platform infrastructure to independent physicians, healthcare providers and professional practices. BrilliSkin LLC is not a healthcare provider, and does not offer or provide medical advice, treatment, or diagnoses, or any other healthcare services.

All medical and other healthcare services accessed through the BrilliSkin platform are performed solely by healthcare providers operating through affiliated professional entities authorized to provide medical services in your state. Your provider is solely responsible for all healthcare services provided to you, and all clinical judgments and care.

By submitting information through BrilliSkin, you:

• Acknowledge that your care is provided by an independent physician or other healthcare provider, not by BrilliSkin LLC.
• Understand that your clinical information is reviewed by a physician or other healthcare professional who independently determines the diagnosis and treatment.
• Agree to receive clinical documentation, recommendations, or prescriptions directly from the treating healthcare provider or professional medical entity.

BrilliSkin facilitates communication and data transfer only and does not establish a provider-patient relationship between you and BrilliSkin LLC.
